Guy M. Kezirian, MD, FACS, FWCRS is committed to bringing refractive surgery to the forefront of vision correction. As Chairman of the World College of Refractive Surgery & Visual Sciences and Visual Freedom Foundation, and founder of the Refractive Surgery Alliance, he is a strong advocate for addressing the burden of untreated refractive errors and scaling refractive surgery to its potential. He believes training, standards, and advocacy are the cornerstones of growth in refractive surgery.

Dr. Kezirian began his career as a board-certified US ophthalmologist and oculoplastic surgeon. His company, SurgiVision® Consultants, Inc., administered the FDA trials for the approval of LASIK for Summit, Visx, and WaveLight. His background in software and mathematics led to the development of the SurgiVision® DataLink platforms which provide outcomes analysis, nomogram development, and surgical planning for laser vision correction. He obtained an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University in 2013, and is the Chairman of the PHYSICIAN CEO® program at Kellogg. Dr. Kezirian currently serves as CEO of Physician Equity Holdings, LLC, a physician-owned private equity group committed to preserving physician leadership over private practice. He lives in Scottsdale, Arizona, USA.
